The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) is the communications and cybersecurity nerve center of the U.S. military. Amy Bittle was brought in to lead comprehensive risk assessments and compliance operations for more than 120 critical DoD systems.

The Challenge

DISA required updated RMF documentation, ATO approvals, NIST 800-53 alignment, and mitigation of vulnerabilities across mission-critical communications systems supporting defense globally.

The Approach

Amy conducted full RMF lifecycle support, managed DISA STIG implementations, eMASS integration, FIPS-199 categorization, and ACAS scan remediation. She collaborated with internal cybersecurity teams to streamline audit success and system hardening.
